The goods supplied and fixed remain the property of St Helena Aluglass until paid in full.

Warranties / Guarantees:

St Helena Aluglas warrants all its workmanship for a period of not less than 6 months against any defect or faulty workmanship. Glass is excluded from this warranty.

Our warranty does not extend to windows and/or doors damaged by reason of act of God, fire, civil disturbance or unreasonable use or misuse of such windows and/or doors.

All hardware, for example hinges and handles, is guaranteed for a period of 1 year from date of installation providing correct cleaning and maintenance procedures are followed.

All open-in doors do not carry a guarantee against water penetration.

PLEASE NOTE: This guarantee becomes void in cases where a party / parties outside St Helena Aluglass does the installation.

Failure to make full and/or timeous payment will nullify this guarantee.

The signatory hereby cede all payments made to him/her or the main contracting company, whichever is applicable.

All windows and doors are viewed from outside.

Plaster made good (Skimming and painting to be done by others) or will be quoted separately

Retrofit installs do not include wet works/sealing/painting unless specified on quote.

Once an item is installed a photo is taken in the event of theft or damage to the item. A new quote will then be issued for replacement and will only be processed once paid.

All Natural aluminum materials are natural anodized and all colors are powder coated.

Regulations:

All aluminum products are manufactured & installed to AAAMSA regulations.

All glazing done to SAGGA regulations.

Lead times and delivery/installation are subject to the availability of material/hardware

St Helena Aluglass is not responsible for removing plastic after installation

HOUSE PLANS AND ENGINEER DESIGNS:

It is the responsibility of the homeowner to make sure all additions and changes to his house comply with the rules and building guidelines of the estate or complex and municipality

It is also the responsibility of the homeowner to get engineer designs and permissions in case of structural changes and additions and to comply to the prescribed designs

The cost for the above will be for the client

Drawings and quotations by Aluglas are for pricing purposes only

FENESTRATION:

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to supply the correct required fenestration information for occupancy.

All glass supplied are 6.38 laminated safety glass or 4 mm clear float glass. Any other glass will be quoted on additionally.

THIRD PARTIES:

Where a third party is the client, all outstanding amounts payable by the builder or third party, will be the responsibility of the homeowner and will be payable on the issue of the outstanding invoice amount.

St Helena Aluglass will not pay penalties due to a shortage of material in South Africa

NO cancellations will be accepted due to shortage of material/hardware

PLEASE NOTE: all individual prices are including Vat.

ST HELENA ALUGLAS WILL REMOVE ALL OLD WINDOWS AND DOORS FROM SITE UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE (this includes burglar bars attached to the windows being removed)

All aluminium works will stay the property of Aluglas until payment has been finalised.

This quotation will only be valid for 14 days from date of issue.
